Environmental Monitoring Expertise

Our chemistries enable environmental laboratories to perform better, bringing consistent quality and purity to every application, test, and process – with absolutely no compromises. This ensures that environmental laboratories build their own reputation for performance and integrity.

Environmental Monitoring Quality Assurance and Quality Control

As an independent organization, we take pride in offering reliable, cost-effective laboratory services. Our internal company culture can be summed up by a desire to deliver ‘value for money’ rather than just a ‘cheap’ sample price. The consistent quality systems employed at our laboratories have been designed to provide reliable, legally defensible analytical results that meet local and international requirements for accreditations, certifications, and licensing.

GLens Labs employs full-time, trained QA/QC chemists to help maintain the quality system, conduct internal audits and assist in training and compliance. We apply a number of quality control measures, including the analysis of certified reference materials, control samples, duplicates and sample spikes to ensure the validity of analytical results. If a problem is identified, the samples are repeated, or other corrective action is taken, to demonstrate that the analytical results are acceptable.

Environmental Monitoring Microbiology

In the environmental field, GLens Labs tests for a handful of bacteriological species (Coliforms –( Total & Fecal), Fecal Streptococcus, Standard Plate Count, Pseudomonas, Legionalla etc.,). The importance of these analyses is paramount, as the health of many depends upon such critical and timely information. Potable water, discharge water, swimming pools, indoor air quality, work environment (plate exposure studies) etc., are all checked for biological pollution.
